NFL week five

NFL week five
  • Early games round-up

Justin Tucker drilled in a 46-yard field goal to give the Baltimore Ravens a 26-23 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tucker had earlier made a 48-yard field goal with 10 seconds of regulation time left to force overtime against their bitter divisional rivals.

There was more late drama as Zane Gonzalez’s last-second field goal gave the Arizona Cardinals a 26-23 win over the Cincinnati Bengals – and number one draft pick Kyler Murray his first victory in the NFL.

Fellow rookie Daniel Jones suffered his first loss as the Minnesota Vikings won 28-10 at the New York Giants and the Buffalo Bills beat the Tennessee Titans 14-7.

Deshaun Watson threw five touchdown passes as the Houston Texans won 53-32 against the Atlanta Falcons, while running back Christian McCaffrey scored three touchdowns and had over 200 yards of offence in the Carolina Panthers’ 34-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. But the New York Jets remain winless after losing 31-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dak Prescott is nearly sacked, twice, maybe three times but he wriggles out of it and makes a first down! What a play!

The Packers get penalised as well. Add 15 yards.

It was only running into the kicker and not roughing so that’s only a five-yard penalty against Dallas. They have the ball back.

Now Aaron Jones goes backwards – Green Bay will have 2nd & 20. The clock is ticking, mind. Jones took a whack to the head too but he’s OK I think.
