This Morning host Phillip Schofield almost choked on his pasty when Jamie Oliver suggested his ‘shove a bit of salad’ in his veggie version of the meal.

The host reacted with horror calling the celebrity chef a ‘filthy pervert’ live on air.

Oliver was a guest on the ITV show promoting his veggie makeover meals.

Everything was going to plan as Schofield, munching on a carefully-crimped handful, listened carefully to Oliver while co-host Holly Willoughby looked on.

Pointing at a bowl of green leaves the chef said: “If you open up a little pocket and shove some of that salad in there I’m telling you…”

But before he could say ‘mustard’ Schofield raised his hand in disgust.

“Salad in a pasty! You filthy pervert,” he vented, partially covering his mouth in outrage.

The audience and Oliver saw the funny side.
